Owner & CEO of Athill Dental Laboratory, LLC

Ras'Julian Athill (J. Marcus George), CDT, founder and CEO of Athill Dental Laboratory, LLC, brings over 20 years of experience in the dental industry. A proud Antigua native and Andrew Jackson High School alumnus, he has worked with top dental companies like Aspen Dental and Pride Dental Enterprise. Known for his expertise in Valplast Flexible Partials, Mr. Athill specializes in advanced materials such as DuraCetal, DuraFlex, and Visiclear. His commitment to continuous education keeps his lab at the forefront of dental technology.


A member of the Florida Dental Laboratory Association, he’s recognized for exceptional service and personalized care in the Jacksonville area. Mr. Athill also mentors his team, fostering growth and innovation at Athill Dental Laboratory. His craftsmanship is highly regarded, with UFC Fighter Alan Belcher and MMA fighter Lorenzo “The Juggernaut” Hunt praising his custom sports mouthguards. Through expertise and vision, Mr. Athill continues to shape the future of dental care.

Ms. L. Mayberry

Operations & HR Liaison

Ms. Mayberry has been with Athill Dental Laboratory, LLC since 2017, combining a background in business administration and hands-on dental lab experience. A graduate of Stanton College Preparatory High School and the University of North Florida (UNF), she holds a dual degree in Business Administration and Marketing.


Starting as a Dental Lab Assistant, Ms. Mayberry gained technical expertise before advancing to Dental Logistics Coordinator, ensuring smooth material flow and timely deliveries. Now serving as HR Liaison, she fosters a positive workplace culture, addresses concerns, and supports team development. In addition to HR, Ms. Mayberry manages administrative tasks, including overseeing databases, spreadsheets, inventory, and scheduling for efficiency. She also leads the lab’s marketing efforts, organizing community events and preparing appreciation gifts for partner dentist offices. Ms. Mayberry is a proud member of the Florida Dental Laboratory Association (FDLA).

Brittney Merchant

Dental Laboratory Technician

Brittney Merchant, a Raines High School graduate, has been with Athill Dental Laboratory, LLC for over three years. She started as a driver and quickly advanced to Dental Laboratory Technician, showcasing her strong work ethic, adaptability, and eagerness to learn.


Brittney is skilled in using precision tools like hand drills, wax carvers, and high-heat furnaces. Her expertise includes crafting denture bases, sports mouthguards, performing denture repairs, and polishing full dentures, making her a well-rounded technician.


Her commitment to quality craftsmanship and patient satisfaction has made her an invaluable asset to the lab. A member of the Florida Dental Laboratory Association (FDLA), Brittney remains focused on professional growth and delivering top-quality dental products and services.

Dental Logistics Specialist

Pam Midcapp, a graduate of Sandalwood High School and Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ), is a retired RN with over 30 years of customer service experience. As a Dental Logistics Specialist at Athill Dental Laboratory, she efficiently manages pickup and delivery services, ensuring timely transport of materials and finished products while fostering strong client relationships and supporting the lab's commitment to exceptional service.

Operations Manager, Athill Dental Laboratory, LLC

Ms. Tyus has been with the company since 2019 with over 20 years of experience in the dental arena. A graduate of William M. Raines High School and Everest University with an Associate in Business. 


Ms. Tyus responsibility as the Operations Manager is managing the daily operations of the lab, such as conducting morning huddles, handling complaints, billing, budgets, ordering lab supplies, and overseeing inhouse audits. Ensuring compliance with relevant OSHA regulations duties while creating a positive and welcoming environment. 



Ms. Tyus handles implementing protocols to ensure exceptional customer service, by prioritizing client satisfaction and growth of Athill Dental Laboratory.
